Bohemian Wedding

As a designer, I had the pleasure of creating not one but two stunning wedding dresses for my twin sister's special day. After countless sketches and consultations, we decided on two designs that truly captured her style and personality. Made from the finest silk fabric, with intricate beading and embroidery that took hundreds of hours to complete. Our bridesmaids dresses were embroidered cotton to match the bohemian theme. Watching my sister walk down the aisle in the dress I designed for her was a moment I will never forget, and I am honoured to have been a part of such a special day.

Planning a wedding in just under 2 months, with a 5 month old baby should have been more challenging, but everything slotted into place as if it had been mapped out in our own little destiny handbook. I knew I wanted it low key and intimate, not just because it was my second trip down the aisle, but that we already had the greatest prize to symbolise our devotion - our daughter Sahana. Since meeting Julian 4 years ago, it has been a journey unlike any other. I would describe it as I still feel it today, as if we took each others hand and stepped out into the darkness, only to have it light up as our feet touched the floor. I've never known what was ahead of us, and through it all I have learnt a great deal about trust. one autumn day...

On my wedding day, I was overjoyed to be surrounded by family and friends in a picturesque vineyard, captured beautifully in black and white photos taken by a friend, and wearing a wedding dress that I had crafted with love and care.
